The Wood County Green Party is doing a lot this month! 

First of all, we are reopening the Woodland Mall Cinema to show a free movie, "Salt of This Sea." The film will be shown on Saturday, April 6 at 1 PM. This is part of the Palestine Film Festival organized by the Media Decompression Collective. They are showing over 20 films about Palestine all over Northwest Ohio. The Wood County Green Party is sponsoring two of those films. The first one, "Five Broken Cameras" was a story of Palestinean non-violent resistance to the building of the wall in Isreal that illegally annexed large areas of Palestinean land. We had 25 people come to see that movie, and many stayed afterwards for a Q & A with Khani Begum and Amjad Doumani. While the venue is fantastic, renting the cinema is expensive. If you could help us with a donation, it would be appreciated.    

Every Sunday, the Wood County Green Party is participating in a protest at the corner of Main and Wooster calling for the end to Israeli occupation of Palestine and an end to the slaughter of innocent civilians. The Protest runs from 2 to 4. It was started by a brave woman named Savannah Click. 

Next we will again have a table at BGSU's Eco-Fair. The fair runs from 11 to 2 on April 10th. This is a great chance for us to reach out to students to let them know about the Green Party and our issues. We need volunteers to sit at the table, contact Joe to sign up. 

Monday, April 22 is Earth day, and Co-Chair Joe DeMare will again be hosting his annual Earth Day Party from 5:30 to 8. It's a potluck, and we ask that you bring food that is "natural." What exactly that means is up to you. It could be organic, or vegan, no fast food, please. There will be games, activities, and as part of the tradition, Joe sets off an hydrogen explosion at the end of the day. 

So, come on out and get busy with us! Every time you actually do something, you change everything. Help the Greens change the world for the better.
